Obituary of Clarabell M. Oliver

Clarabell M. Oliver Age 81 of Horseheads, NY passed away on Tuesday, February 24, 2015, at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center. She was born on May 8, 1933, in Breesport, NY, to the late Guy and Ida May (Thomas) Morgan. Clara was also predeceased by her grandson, Jacob Erik Oliver in 1996. Clara is survived by her loving husband of nearly 58 years, Herbert Oliver of Horseheads, NY; sons and daughters, Gerald (Bonnie) Roe of Troy, NY, Kevin (Linda) Roe, Keith (Vicky) Oliver, Kathy (Mike) Kinner, James (Christine) Oliver all of Horseheads, NY; 13 grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren; brother, Robert Morgan of Florida. Clara was a long time resident of Chemung County. She was a member of Monterey Baptist Church. Clara and her husband, Herb, owned and operated C & H Tack Shop in Horseheads. She was active with her family, operating the store and locally in the “Posse Group”. Family and friends may call at the Barber Funeral Home on Sunday, March 1, 2015 from 1-3:00 and 5:00-7:00 pm where her service will follow at 7:00 pm with her friend and Pastor the Rev.
