Obituary of James M. ""Jimmy"" Dugan

Dugan, James M. “Jimmy” Age 88 of Horseheads, NY passed away on March 5, 2015. Jimmy is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Linda Dugan of Horseheads, NY; children, Lila (Kenneth) Bennett of Elmira, NY and Wayne Allen with fiancée Jeanie of Sayre, PA; several grandchildren and many friends. He was predeceased by his parents and three sisters. Jimmy was a career veteran with the U.S. Army retiring as Sergeant First Class. Over his 24 years of service with the Army, he served during World War II, and the Korean and Vietnam Wars. He attained the honors of the Authorized Asiatic Pacific Theater Ribbon, Word War II Victory Medal as well as multiple letters of commendation. Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service in Woodlawn National Cemetery, 1825 Davis Street, Elmira on Friday, March 13, 2015, at 11:00 A.M. where full military honors will be accorded.
