Obituary of Oliver F. Keough

KEOUGH, Oliver F. Age 97 Of Halderman Hollow Rd. in Elmira Heights, NY passed away Mon. Jun 22, 2015 at home surrounded by his family. Oliver was born in Greenwood, NY to the late James Francis “Frank” and Delightia (King) Keough. He is survived by his wife of over 75 years, Goldie (Whitesell) Keough; Daughters and son, Wayne ( Reva) Keough of Horseheads, NY, Alice Keough of Elmira Heights, NY Deanne (Wayne) Knapp of Horseheads, NY; daughter-in-law, Kathy Keough Grandchildren, Lisa (Jim) Swinson, Wayne Keough Jr., Lola Keough, Shayna Keough; Apryl (Kevin) Knapp, Brian (Valory) Keough, Dennis (Christine) Keough, Jason (Amy) Keough, Laura (Tim) Sarnack, Susan Keough; 20 Great grandchildren One great great granddaughter and nieces, nephews and friends. He was also predeceased by his, son, Lloyd Keough in 2015, sisters, Louise Howard in 2014 and Isabelle Dibble in 2003, and granddaughter, Bonnie Bergquist in 2007. Oliver was a retired welder with American Bridge Works in Elmira Heights, NY. He was also a member of Elmwood Baptist Church and enjoyed countless hours on his Allis Chalmers tractor. Oliver also enjoyed carpentry, the outdoors and especially holding hands and long walks with his wife, Goldie. Family and friends are invited to call at the Barber Funeral Home 413 S. Main St. Horseheads, NY on Thurs June 25, 2015 from 4-6:00 pm. His service will be celebrated there on Thurs at the conclusion of calling hours at 6:00 pm. The Rev. Dr. David R.
