Obituary of Ellsworth ""Pete"" L. Robinson

ROBINSON, Ellsworth L. “Pete” Age 83 of Westlake St., Horseheads passed away Sat. Dec. 12, 2015. He was born in Granville, PA on Feb. 21, 1932 to William James Robinson and Etta Viola Boyce. He was predeceased by his wife, Eveline “Mary” Robinson in 2012; and daughter, Jane Robinson in 2014. He is survived by his daughters, Dotty and Ron McClure of Covington, PA, Mary and Kent McDonald of Columbia Cross Roads, PA; grandchildren, Wendy (Brad) Bailey, Wayne (Dana) McClure Jason (Kimberly) McDonald; 5 great granddaughters, nieces and nephews, brother, Harold (Julia) Robinson of Elmira. Pete was also predeceased by his brothers and sister, Cliff, Malcolm, Ralph, Thelma, Othel, Paul and Fred. Pete was a longtime maintenance worker at St. Peter & Paul’s Cemetery in Elmira. He was a decorated veteran of US Army and member of Faith Tabernacle Church in Elmira Heights. In his leisure, he enjoyed Elmira Pioneers Baseball and a good game of Bingo. Family and friends are invited to call at the Faith Tabernacle Church, 155 Lenox Ave., Horseheads on Wed. December 16, 2015 from 1-3:00 pm. His service with military honors will follow there in church at 3:00 pm.
