I was the nurse taking care of Anna on the night that she passed away. The only comfort that I can offer is to let everyone know that she did not die alone. I held her hand, combed her hair, and talked to her until the very end. She died very peacefully. Reading her tribute I was moved by her life and legacy. I am glad that our paths crossed even for the very brief time we shared. My deepest condolences to her family and friends.
sincerely and with heartfelt condolences:

Dear Bobbi and family
Losing your mom during this terrible time must hurt even more, but your Mom might well encourage you to continue living through her spirit and resilience.
Our whole ODEI team remembers her cooking Eggplant for us and how special a treat it always would be. She was a gift and model of a life well-lived and we will always remember her that way. With love and deep regard, Elizabeth, Edy, Gloria and Carlos

Bobbi is one of my very best friends. We met in the late seventies and as a close friend, I met her beloved Mom, Anna, many times over the years. Anna was a sweet and wonderful woman. She was always warm and welcoming and food was usually part of the get togethers, always Italian and always delicious! Anna was devoted to her family and I know that they will miss her terribly. I send my deepest condolences to all Anna's family. Bobbi, I love you and I'm here for you.
Blessings,
Nikki

Anna was a wonderful neighbor and friend. She loved her family, and spending time with friends.
Anna was well respected in our neighborhood and the community. She always had a smile to share with others. We cannot forget how she loved the lilacs in our yard when they bloomed.
We miss her conversations and cheerful thoughts. Our condolences to all of Anna's family.

I meet Anna some years ago through her daughter Bobbi. She was a kind and caring woman. Bobbi would share with me that her mom would alway like to wear shower caps to keep her hair looking beautiful in the showet. So when Bobbi and I traveled and me with my family I would get the shower caps and give them to Bobbi with little notes or even a smily face. That's when Anna called me the shower cap lady :) I will always have that memory of her whenever I see shower caps now. RIP Anna

Anna was an amazing lady, and my 'Birthday budy"" as she said. She always reminded me at least a week before our birthday that ""our big day was coming"". She came to my office before I made it to her room that morning and sang me Happy Biryhday, We also shared the love of plants and had a friendly competition. I gave her a clipping of a Christmas cactus and her plant grew bigger, she claimed it was because she talked to it everyday!!! I miss you dearly, Anna, my Birthday Buddy. I will cherish these memories forever. Thank you to Anna's family for letting us be a big part of her life.
My sincere condolences to Anna's family.
