I met Grace and her little daughter Lori when I joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1970. I was a teenager and moved out of state after about 5 months. Still, throughout the last fifty some years I have remembered Grace. She had a light in her eyes and a small, but determined smile. She just emanated quietness, strength, determination, and yes, grace. I think her powerful example to me has influenced decisions I have made all my life. To have made such a powerful impression in so short a time to someone just starting out in the world is amazing to me. After reading about how Grace shared the rest of her life, she will continue to inspire me. I know that she is still busy serving and teaching others with all of the gifts she forged in this life.

I had the privilege of spending time with grace at Bethany Manor.
She was a very good friend of my father Joe, who also lived at Bethany.
We went out to eat and went for long rides in the country.
She was always happy to spend the time with my father and he was also happy to be with her.
My prayers go out to her family.
