Obituary of Theresa Ann Wheeler

Theresa A. Wheeler 1948 – 2021 Theresa A. Wheeler, of Horseheads, passed away peacefully on January 7, 2021, surrounded by love, to be with the Lord. A woman of faith, and a lifelong Catholic, she was a communicant of the Most Holy Name of Jesus Parish. She will be missed by all those who knew and loved her. Theresa was a graduate of South Side High School and Tompkins-Cortland CC School of Nursing. She was a professional nurse, and served her patients and community for over 25 years. A devoted wife and mother she worked tirelessly to improve the lives of her family, especially for her daughter Christina and son Kevin. She was predeceased by her parents, Theresa Palumbo-Hollenbeck and Jesse Hollenbeck; and William R. Wheeler. Theresa is survived by her daughter Christina M. (Stephen F. Hartman) Wheeler of Horseheads; son Kevin P. (Diana) Wheeler and grandsons Gabriel and Seamus of Wasilla, Alaska; siblings Michael, James, and Marie; along with her nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her two beloved little dogs, Princess and Benji. Private funeral services and a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
