Marian and Ray were the first people we met when moving to Elmira Heights nearly 5 decades ago and we stayed friends for all these years. She watched our children grow and was always interested in our family's doings. I knew whatever the event Marian would be there lending a helping hand and supporting the cause. We are very saddened to have lost her and send our sincere condolences to her family

Marian was a wonderful lifelong friend to my parents Howard and Vivian and to our whole family. I especially enjoyed her company in later years when I was able to visit the area.

My brother and I always looked forward to our two week vacation with our favorite Aunt and our twin cousins.
We thought she was beautiful and just wonderful with us as kids and us as adults thru the years!
What wonderful memories we have of those times!
We know she is with our Lord!

My sincere sympathy to the family of Marion. I grew up on 12th Street near Mrs. Sanders home and knew the family from the early 50's. All of us were members of Oakwood Methodist Church. My cousin Helen Farmer was a close friend of Spuds. May all your happy memories help you during this time as you celebrate a life well lived.

I knew Marian and Ray my whole life, as they were best friends with my Mom and Dad, Trudy and Chet. Mom shared many stories of their times together throughout life, putting puzzles together watching the kids as the guys went to lodge, playing cards, the Beacon class, traveling with "the Cousins", antiquing and eating out, weekends at the lake. I feel so blessed to have known Marian and to have seen what a life well lived looks like. She, Ray, and the circle of friends that they kept close are a positive example to us all of what is good in life. I will dearly miss visits and stories of the days of old. Rest in peace, Marian.

Marian has been a visiable part of Elmira Heights for her entire life. I've known her for much of that time. It was at the Historical Society, that our friendship grew along with my admiration of her dedication to her many causes. Marian's death is a loss to us all.

Sending our sympathy to the family of Marian. She was such a friendly and kind lady. When our mother was seriously ill in the hospital awhile back, she asked us to give Marian a call. That’s how much she thought of her as a friend and a member of the church! The Family of Barbara Grabowski
