Ethan was at his heart a great person... He was my best friend in school and brilliant... he was quick thinking and sure footed and I'll always cherrish snow surfing from the bumper of the land cruiser in front of the bus line when it snowed at EFA.... He could replace the blown radio fuse in his dad's Mazda in under a minute and never lacked confidence and lead the charge (good or bad,) He also was as many magicians would call; A trickster...I was sad about his decline and as I quickly left town, our contact quickly and embarassingly dwindled. Just missed his first children but knew his first wife... Have lost contact with most, would love to re-connect... chipcheney1@yahoo.com.

I cannot believe you are gone, I am still in shock. You will be missed. I will never forget the trip we took to Canada to see the Bruce Springsteen concert and the old Buick that you drive broke down in Buffalo and you decided to go see Robbie Larkin. I was always curious if the car really broke down or if that was just something you told our folks. I will never know now. You got away with so much, I was always a little envious. I did keep your secrets though. It was too funny all those times you snuck out the sun porch window and when you showed me how I was scared but you showed me it wasn’t that hard. Down that old fire escape. Then you moved to the attic apartment and that was so much easier for you. You were so brave and so bold and fearless. I was too chicken to do it but you rocked in bravery. You had such an awesome CD collection and I was envious so you showed me your Secret of buying one CD and getting 12 for free. What a great
music club. Sorry for always trying to date your friends. It wasn’t on purpose. I know that bothered you. Sorry I was so selfish. You were so smart and a good person and you cared about those that were important to you. Time and distance prevented us from spending very much time together. You made a cool trip to the South once to see me back in the good ole days. Thanks for taking me to that really cool party where everyone was u deface drinking. It was out of my league but it was fun. Not sure how you managed to get me out of the house to get there,I have since forgotten. You always looked out for me as a big brother. We had our moments some good and some bad, but we were still close. Everyone thought we weren’t but we were. They talked their smack and I told you everything they said. We stayed off the radar. We were a team. Us against the world. Love Always, your crazy sister
